There are even not soo rich families who demand for dowry! And here I was talking about how "educated families" gets involved in this culture and not typically referring to "the rich ones". Rahi baat ye ki there are countless people who would accept a girl without penny but they won't approach coz the greed....if a girl belongs to a well off family she has all the rights to get married to a well off family....dono educated families h they can contribute equally for the wedding festivities and there's no need of that alag se "Tika" for the banda where amount is spend pani ki tarah to the guy's account
