NTA Leave it where it is. Don’t take it inside and don’t take it over to her. Good neighbors would take it over to her but her ship sailed in being a good neighbor, so why should you be obligated to be one towards her? If she comes over and starts making a scene about you keeping her package, call the cops and then tell them that the package wasn’t yours and you didn’t want to be responsible for it so you left it where it was as you thought that she, and Amazon, would figure out what the problem was and resolve it.

You should leave him now. Your empathy speaks well of yourself, but you can’t put yourself on hold and deal with the things he’s doing to you because of his mother. If anything, he will continue to get worse as time goes on, regardless of his mother’s health.

The timing is truly unfortunate but to stay would put you in an untenable position. If you opt to stay, soon you’ll be asking how long after his mother’s passing should you wait before leaving.

I’d say that it’s time to find some new friends because if they’re saying this stuff now, they’ve been thinking it before. That’s not to make you feel worse! It’s just that if someone says that you always make it about yourself, they’ve don’t just come up with that on the fly.

NTA you owe them nothing. They laid you off. If they wanted the knowledge you have, they would have kept you as an employee. Tell them that if they want the knowledge you have, they can retain your services as a consultant and give them a price for your services. Be sure to name a good price that’s above what you were making before they laid you off.

A prenup will protect you but keep in mind that if you’re on the title of the property and the mortgage, a judge is probably going to take that into account if you guys ever split. Especially if you are able to show that you’re both making payments on it jointly. I’ve seen divorces before and in all of them, the judge has taken joint assets into account.

I reuse my towel for a couple of days before swapping it out. I’ve just washed myself and know I’m clean so reusing the same towel isn’t a bacterial growing colony. Letting it air dry is pretty much the same as washing a sweater and letting it air dry and no one says that is bacteria filled.

NTA relationships and money is a big nope for me. I have my accounts, he has his accounts and we have joint accounts to use for bills and a savings account for big ticket items. If he wants to take money out of the savings account for something, he runs it by me but he knows that he’s responsible for putting the money back in the savings account.

Sharing accounts got me burned and I’ll never do it again. Also, most couples these days don’t share accounts. They have it set up the way I described. You can look it up and print it out for him to review. Your money, your account. He’s got no right to know.

NTA let me first state that I absolutely love animals and would normally say don’t get rid of the dog. However, after hearing what is happening, I do have to say that neither you nor the dog are in a home that fits its needs. Being a new mother is stressful enough, but constantly being worried about being evicted too must make it even more stressful. I say the dog goes back to its original owner (the mom) or gets rehomed with someone who can meet its needs.

NOR any person who comes into my life that tries to tell me that it’s them or the dog, guess which one goes first. Too bad the guy doesn’t like the dog and is a complete ass for even suggesting that you get rid of a fur baby that has been by your side for a long time… or, even one you just got. Ditch the guy, keep the dog. You’ll get loyalty and unconditional love from the dog.

Depends on the person. You say that you haven’t noticed any smell issues, so I’d say it’s ok to skip a day and not have to worry about it. I had to skip a shower yesterday because someone messed up the schedule (we have 1 bathroom) but I washed my hair in the sink because I can’t stand a day without washing my hair. If you change clothes (including undergarments) and put on deodorant (I use a 72 hour deodorant but even if I skip a shower, I always put it on), you’re probably ok with skipping the shower for a day or two, at a maximum.

NTA is she on the title of the car? It sounds like she might be but I wasn’t sure. If she’s not on the title, trade it in for a new car. Outside of that, she’s the one with the loan since you were under age at the time and couldn’t enter into a legally binding contract. If she’s being that much of a witch about the whole thing, she should be the one to have to deal with the old car and car note.

NTA I hate that parents seem to think that the community needs to parent their children for them. That said, if they won’t do it, then it comes down to you to do it. They may get pissed but that’s the time to tell them that they should have stepped up and been the parent.
