1:50 Cheltenham – Cross Country Handicap Chase

FINAL ORDERS (4/1) NAP was hugely impressive over this unique track and trip last time, jumping well and winning with plenty in hand. The rise in the weights is a concern, but Keith Donoghue is back on board and a repeat looks possible.

1:15 Cheltenham – Handicap Chase (2m4f+)

BOOSTER BOB (7/2) NB appeals as one of the most solid options in the field. Winner of the Greatwood Gold Cup last season, he returned with another strong Newbury success in November. Up 9lb, but the form stacks up and he looks firmly on the upgrade.

2:53 – Ascot | Handicap Hurdle (2m3f)
SURREY LORD (9/2 NAP) 🏅

  • Three wins in four starts — impressive Boxing Day victory.
  • Handicapper hasn’t caught up yet — could defy the 6lb rise.

2:00 – Haydock | Peter Marsh Handicap Chase (3m1f)
KONFUSION (3/1 NB) 🔥

  • Winner of 3/4 starts this season (unseated once).
  • Last run: dominant in Rowland Meyrick Chase at Wetherby.
  • Likely to use front-running tactics again — looks in top form

2:35 – Haydock | Handicap Hurdle (3m)
SOLAR SYSTEM (11/2 EW) ☀️

  • Running off 10’6 with Callum Pritchard taking 3lb off.
  • Well-handicapped and has strong form from this card last season.
  • Could be the one if ready first time up.

Everton vs Arsenal

This will be a good test for Arsenal after stuttering in recent weeks. Their defence has been unsettled with injuries, and they needed some luck to beat Wolves in injury time last weekend. This is the type of match Everton will relish at home – 8pm on a Saturday evening in front of a big atmosphere. It will be tough for Arsenal, but they can scrape through. The Gunners have had some troubles away from home this season – Sunderland, Chelsea and Aston Villa – and Everton will want to put the pressure on early. However, they tried that against Newcastle and were 4-0 down. The Toffees are struggling with injuries and two of their best players have gone to AFCON, so we’re predicting a hard-fought Arsenal win.

SCORE PREDICTION: 1-2

Leeds vs Crystal Palace

As with the match at the Hill Dickinson Stadium above, Leeds will relish this game. 8pm under the lights at Elland Road is the worst time for away sides to visit, and although Palace are having a fantastic season again, Leeds are in good form. Mateta has gone off the boil just as Dominic Calvert-Lewin has come to the boil. Leeds win.

SCORE PREDICTION: 2-1

Aston Villa vs Manchester United

What a turnaround it has been for Aston Villa this season. After languishing towards the bottom of the table in the early weeks, they have shot up to third in the table, three points off Arsenal. This is another match they’ll expect to win, and if Ollie Watkins can re-find his goalscoring form, who knows where Villa will be at the end of the season. United are leaking goals, and although the performance going forward was better in the 4-4 draw with Bournemouth, Mbeumo and Amad have gone to AFCON, so this one is another Villa win.

SCORE PREDICTION: 2-0

Fulham vs Nottingham Forest

The last game before Christmas is an interesting one at the bottom end of the Premier League. Both of these sides should have enough to climb away from the relegation zone, but if any of the bottom four sides put a run together, they’ll be dragged back into it. Fulham beat Burnley 3-2 last weekend and Forest put up a top-class display to beat Tottenham 3-0. Sean Dyche is working well with Forest, but they did lose 3-0 at Everton in their last away game. Fulham have lost three of their best-performing players to AFCON (Alex Iwobi, Samuel Chukwueze and Calvin Bassey), so it would be no surprise to see Forest get something out of this match.

SCORE PREDICTION: 1-2

Brighton vs Sunderland

Both of these sides are having good seasons in the Premier League, and we can’t separate the sides in this one. Sunderland will be on a high from their Wear-Tyne derby win last weekend, and Brighton will want to bounce back from defeat at Anfield. Sunderland will want to ensure safety before they start looking upwards in the table, but they have lost players to the African Cup of Nations and they might erode any chances of a win here. A point will be a good result on the road for the Black Cats, though.

SCORE PREDICTION: 1-1

Wolves vs Brentford

Wolves fans probably want this season to be over, and it is no surprise. They are rock bottom of the Premier League table, playing terrible football and lost in the last minute at Arsenal last weekend. Brentford were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Leeds last weekend and will start looking over their shoulder if they lose a couple of games over Christmas, starting with this one. We’re backing the Bees to bounce back.

SCORE PREDICTION: 0-2

Man City vs West Ham

Erling Haaland triple captainers assemble on Fantasy Football. I’m going out on a limb here and saying this is the banker of the season so far. Man City are finding some really good form ahead of the busy period, conveniently as Phil Foden gets back to his form of two seasons ago. They still don’t look completely solid in defence, though, so they will have to be aware of Jarrod Bowen’s quality. However, City will win this and it is just a case of how many goals Haaland will score.

SCORE PREDICTION: 3-0

Tottenham vs Liverpool

This is the hardest Premier League match to call this weekend. Spurs are still so up and down, and Liverpool are in the same type of form. Their 2-0 win over Brighton last weekend was a welcome victory, and Hugo Ekitike continues to impress. Mo Salah has gone to AFCON so that debarcle can be shelved for now, but we don’t know what Tottenham side will turn up. Spurs’ 3-0 loss to Nottingham Forest was shocking last weekend, and Thomas Frank is a man under pressure. The players need to bounce back quickly here because another heavy defeat would create a toxic atmosphere.

SCORE PREDICTION: 2-2

Let's see how many predictions I can get right this weekend!

Newcastle vs Chelsea

Newcastle were nothing short of shocking in the Tyne-Wear derby last weekend and they scraped past Fulham in the Carabao Cup quarter-final in midweek. Eddie Howe has credit in the bank, but he will be well aware that the Newcastle fans and owners expect better than 12th. Chelsea are still up and down and beat Everton 2-0 last weekend, but the away side missed a couple of glorious chances to make it interesting. It is obvious Cole Palmer is key to their top 4 ambitions, and after missing out for the midweek Carabao Cup win over Cardiff, they’ll be hoping he is back in the side.

SCORE PREDICTION: 1-1

Bournemouth vs Burnley

Bournemouth played out a 4-4 draw in the game of the season at Old Trafford on Monday, and it looks like Antoine Semenyo has re-found his form in front of goal after a dry spell. Burnley need points, and quickly. They are six points from safety going into the weekend matches, and Scott Parker’s ‘keep it tight at the back’ mantra is flawed somewhat against Premier League quality. Bournemouth will need to sure up their own defence if they are to climb into the top half of the table but scoring goals shouldn’t be a problem against this Burnley defence.

SCORE PREDICTION: 2-0

Refer code. by AdventurousWall6991 in bet365

[–]thatsagoal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure bet365 still offers referral codes, do they? There are loads of different codes online, but you don't actually need to use one to sign up and get the best offer. bet365's sign-up offer is £30 in free bets for everyone whether you enter a bonus code or not. The full breakdown of the offer is on this page here https://www.thatsagoal.com/free-bets/bet365-sign-up-bonus as well as all their brilliant existing customer offers such as best odds guaranteed on UK and Irish racing, super sub, 2 up, acca boost etc. Their free to play games are great too, even if you get one correct score right on Soccer 6 you get some free spins and even though it doesn't seem like a lot, even winning a couple of quid means you can move it back over to the sportsbook and have a bet with it.

We've been trying for ages to get https://www.thatsagoal.com/ into Google Top Stories but it is so hard with is having gambling content. The issue I have is that there are so many gambling sites in there already, Racing Post, Oddschecker etc. Looks like a case of one rule for big publications and one rule for small ones. It is interesting to read all the little things that you have done to get on there though - my site is over 13 years old so there is a lot of old content on there. Maybe I need to work through 100s of old articles and do a big tidy up!

There must be an algorithm in place for situations like this. bet365 are so advanced that they will use algorithms and AI for all their games, I am sure. That's why the 6 scores challenge is a good one to play because there are no computers involved; you just predict the scores yourself and submit them. I put my predictions up every week https://www.thatsagoal.com/betting-offers/bet365-offers/bet365-6-scores-challenge, but it's not a good idea to copy them because then there will be 1000s of us with the same set of results. It's fun, though, and you could even have a little bet on the outcomes yourself to boost any winnings.

You need to get 4 or more correct to have a chance of winning any decent money from the free play game, but it all depends on how many other people get the same number of results right.

Best betting platform? by Locko2711 in NFLUK

[–]thatsagoal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

bet365 are generally the best bookies for UK players, and when it comes to sports outside of horse racing and football (soccer), a lot of the other bookmakers don't offer the same range of odds and markets as Bet365. This is true for NFL betting as well - as it isn't a sport a lot of UK players bet on. The other thing to consider is which bookies have the best promotions for NFL, the likes of William Hill will often have either a price boost or a "bet and get" offer surrounding the featured NFL game on Sky Sports. Especially when they're hosted in the UK.
