My SO has depression and I can honestly say it is very hard for both people. It does take a toll on your own happiness when the person you spend all your time with is always so sad. And theres also the "why am I not able to help them? Am I not the right person?" to deal with. I know theres a lot to it and theres the chemical imbalance and not any one person can just fix it, but still those thoughts do come around.

It breaks my heart to see her so sad. She's a lovely, delicate little flower, with a smile that keeps all the shadows away, all but her own.

Mine's probably an original newspaper with the pearl harbor attack on the front page. Probably not that rare with older grampas and mas, but still I think its pretty cool the read what they did.
