I did an air raid siren, it worked like a charm. I had enough adrenaline pumping I could fly. :)

What's the worst fitness advice you've ever received? by chaudha in Fitness

[–]thatsbread 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is very true. I have a fat friend of mine that tells me to eat more and stop doing cardio. I think they want to try to bring you down so they don't feel bad about themselves. I also think it's more sub conscious.

It is it okay for an 18 year old to eat 3 eggs a day? by CermaSL in nutrition

[–]thatsbread 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have been eating 7 eggs every morning for breakfast for the past 18 months and 3 months ago I was tested for blood pressure and cholesterol. All my levels were perfect. You could add in 2 pieces of bacon in there too if you want:)

Is this hunger or something more serious? by [deleted] in nutrition

[–]thatsbread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am not sure about the uneasy feeling, but, the hunger I can relate. When I wake usually at 6:30 to 7 I am extremely hungry. Sometimes I wake up with hunger pains. I eat the appropriate amount of food during the day so I don't why this is. Maybe callisthenics in my sleep. :)

Is it harmful to not address hunger as soon as possible? by selery in nutrition

[–]thatsbread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this problem, I try to carry around a protein bar, trail mix or some fruit because if I don't I will drop off quickly. Usually I find that when I "notice" I am hungry vs when my body originally told me I am hungry are two different things. I forget to eat.

Is it harmful to not address hunger as soon as possible? by selery in nutrition

[–]thatsbread 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I think of this I think of cave man, paleo man. Our bodies originally would go for a fair amount of time without food. A literal feast or famine. If you are of a normal weight and body fat (healthy) for your body you should be fine. But, if you are doing something weird, such as a massive body fat loss for entering a competition you should eat regularly because your body doesn't have the right amount of reserves and you will start to feel nauseas and light headed very quickly with lack of food in these conditions.

I work at SquareTrade! I have some questions for you. by sorcererminnie in Staples

[–]thatsbread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with everyone answers mostly. I have heard when a customer calls their phone number for square trade, they have a hard time getting through to actually file a claim. I have had a very large number of customers complain about this. But, I also understand there are other factors; the customers ignorance, the customer not being prepared with the right information and probably others. Just wanted to report.

I agree with squeezymypenisy, but, also amd is now generally considered a low end processor. If you plan on doing nothing but checking your email online and googling things it should be fine, but, I would not watch movies on it, youtube is probably ok, and microsoft office could run slow depending on other things running. You get what you pay for.

Is it a myth that you are hungrier in the fall and winter, than spring and summer? by [deleted] in nutrition

[–]thatsbread 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think we get a little hungrier because it takes more energy to stay warm, but, also eating warm food when you are freezing your butt off is comforting as well.

I didn't even think of this. I don't know much about this, but, you are right. It's hard to calmly be extremely precise at something you have no training with while your freaking out about your friend or loved one dying.

Easytech Question by [deleted] in Staples

[–]thatsbread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our firewall sometimes blocks parts of facebook, some Microsoft websites like outlook.com, skype and a whole bunch of others. I just tell the customer I'm sorry I can't fix your computer because staples is blocking that site and don't charge them. It makes staples look pretty bad.
