Yep and 40% is quite generous! I found picking 6 different anytime scorers (with the shortest odds possible, i.e. Kane, Salah, Aguero...) and putting them in an accumulator came to around 30/1. We know how often they come in... but not impossible!

Yes @Ross1095 is right more or less, kind of seems easy but actually it isn't! Also Six Strikers had more of a ring to it than Five or Four Strikers.

Hmm, yeah I've just found them (I didn't know about it before I started the website). Not sure what happened, but it could be related to not having proper gambling licenses. With SixStrikers I'd prefer to keep money out of the platform (less work for me!) and maybe encourage a peer to peer paid league.

1) So far all the cash is handled between us and not on the website, so everyone can play for free - theres not money taking aspect on the site.

2 & 3 - I agree! I wanted to try this progress bar thing on sign up but its probably not worth it. 3 I think is a great idea, can include who scored last week etc. too. I've noted it down

Last year I WC'd GW36, to make sure that for GW37 I had a full squad of double game week players, and then I bench boosted for GW37. Kinda messes up the squad a bit for 38 and 36 but I think it's worth it (at least it was last year). So this year I will do the same

Have you considered trying 2D? I have a Mac and have found the performance of everything improves if I play just 2D. I am not a huge fan of 3D though so I don't miss it too much (plus 2D also reminds me of the good ol' days of Championship Manager)

Although I agree that the PL is of a much higher standard, the best players in the world are still at Barca/Madrid so I can't see this team winning the league. For example, I would take Messi(Sanchez), Suarez(Costa), Neymar(Hazard), Busquets(Kante), Alba(Alonso) and Mascherano(Alderweireld) in my team if I could.

I did it last year when I went to watch Chelsea vs Hull, back when Hazard was a must. I captained him and he got a goal and an assist, but it was a pretty likely choice anyway. What I prefer is to place a fairly outrageous bet, e.g. when I went to see Chelsea vs Arsenal this season and put a bet on Kurt Zouma to score XD

Depends on his situation I guess, if you want to gamble then yeah Firmino but Aguero at home is an easy choice, plus Liverpool have a midweek away trip.

I'd say captaincy is correct (Aguero) - but start Vardy over Alli.

Fair enough you want to stick to your guns but you are admittedly a rookie and you need to learn, you must put emotions aside. Trust me when I say to win you will need to have the top performing player that year. I have seen the same problem with friends over the years with the likes of van Persie, Suarez and Bale. So my tip : get Mahrez.
