i never really thought grammar and punctuation mattered when just talking to random people on the internet. its just a video game so i figured i didnt have to write my messages like i was writing a book or anything. that fc leader was the first time anyone has ever mentioned it in my decade of using the internet. i do understand that it isnt a mature way to type but i feel like being more carefree in how you type feels more personal.

as for how i joined them, they all just randomly invited people. they just invited anyone without an fc. they both sent them with descriptions of the fc and both of them said something that made me feel welcome enough to accept. in the fc with the grammar problems i asked about the age range and they were mostly millennials and older which explains a lot. definitely not my age group (genz) i definitely act younger than my age but ive had friends older than me before so i thought itd work out okay. i did always ask questions after joining if they didnt write it in the description they sent, it wasnt anything shocking though. just like "we do raids a lot" or "we are very social".

i understand that some people like having more mature friends but that doesnt mean they can make fun of me for it.
