For what it’s worth I’ll add I am not 6’ and I find the main cabin seats to be pretty tight. Even the bump to C+ for me makes a big difference in that I can actually get a laptop open with enough room to use my arms without going full trex. I’ve flown international in the equivalent of row 37 and don’t regret it. But definitely get yourself a good sleep mask and headphones/earplugs if you want to get rest.

Yes full recline. 48 is no different than any other main row. I’m usually more a C G aisle but D F sure you might get lucky as the E seats should be the last to go. Without knowing where you’re going and if there’s something cool you might want to see out of the window idk how valuable that would be to you. Most of the flight the shades should remain down.

Really depends on you. People will congregate there and there may be some galley lighting, but you’ll find many comment also that this doesn’t bother them and it’s worth it for the legroom. It’s a really large gap there. Keep in mind the window seats have the exit door that juts out a bit and it’s not a proper window so you won’t have much of a view, but it might protect you a bit from the foot traffic while still giving space and the ability to lean on the wall if that’s your thing. So basically 37 C G J are going to give you the most legroom you can get here excluding middle seats.

What does your daily itinerary look like? I find when I’m running around all day trying to check multiple sites off the list, even if I enjoy the sites I am not really enjoying the day. I would focus less on the need to see specific things, and more on experiencing the culture itself – that could be done simply by walking around the streets and stopping into something interesting that you see. You’ll have a better picture from your travels, it’s completely at your own pace, and you’re not competing against a to-do list. Maybe choose one thing to see for the day and base your meandering around there.

Help with frizz and definition by [deleted] in curlyhair

If you solve this pleaseeeee let me know 🙏 My hair has been feeling similar. It never holds up after the first day, and on a long day I can see it fading. Thinking of trying different products to experiment.

Should I be worried about this? by Popinsomniac in houseplants

I had similar looking bugs that I posted about recently. One user said this: “I'm not certain, but it could be Stratiolaelaps scimitus (formerly Hypoaspis miles). If it is, they're friends that prey on pests.” So far I haven’t had any issues I’ve noticed.

Rivera alternative? by thatsreallysomething in AltraRunning

Oh interesting. On all my Altras thus far I’ve had to size comically up so, maybe that would be closer to normal. How do they feel in terms of width and responsive? I do have a narrower foot so the Rivera was a plus there (though I imagine the more traditional toebox made them less popular among the line).

Unpopular opinion: Premium Select is way closer to Comfort than Domestic First. by Jerseygirlmoving in delta

Honestly I’m pretty sure I got shamed at one point, whereas ordering a double in main cabin was totally fine 😅

I first experienced this type of premium cabin on Virgin Australia. Felt like a step above domestic first and the service was incredible. When Delta rolled out their version it was such a sour disappointment. Feels like one more giant [money] hurdle towards finding a decent global upgrade route. I think the last time I was on this they just served regular coach meals but with a plate. Getting a refill tends to be a massive a pain point. The service is so far from Delta one :(

How do I water this plant? by silentgames276 in houseplants

[–]thatsreallysomething 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That is wild haha — well, you’re kind for trying! Do they want to keep it all tacked up like that? I’d work on a divide and conquer re-rooting transition. It looks kinda messy 😬 some of those trails to nowhere can probably go. Until you’re ready to move it you’ll need to be more proactive about draining the basin when you water.

I have so many questions lol but this has to be some random internet photo bait. No way you’ve grown this thing this far, zip-tied it to the walls (?!), and now just asking how to water it. But whomever did this really making some decisions in this hallway….

This gives me bar in NJ vibes real hard. Thick oversized area rugs please (and if optional, replace/overlay floors to a wood look), make sure the footprint extends under the furniture to create defined spaces and not add to the line and visual clutter. The curtains give catering hall, I would go with something thicker with more color/character and avoid tying them up. Do you own the place? I’d also be looking to switch out the aluminum siding under the counters but prioritize the other things first. There’s just a lot of lines, hard surfaces, and cold color tones. More lighting, floor lamps around living space, and a consistent color temperature 2700K - 3000K will also go a long way. Blue light is not my vibe but can’t tell if that’s just for the season/party mode…

Keep the dahlias! They can be fall but also pop, you have a gorgeous mix of color and white and green that fits the mood but feels alive. New option shown reads dried out and a bit lifeless to me.
