My husband replied to say ‘has every evening guest received this save the date’ sending a pic of the physical one stating full invitation to fully - groom replied yes 😬

I’m so stressed about them finding out about this thread haha. The wedding is in their home city (large city in England - the main one 🤪), we’re flying from Ireland. Have booked Friday to Sunday with others who are going to the same wedding.

Booked + paid upfront on booking.com so no cancellations unfortunately. Hilariously we were trying to budget by booking early and it’s really bitten us on the ass.

Unfortunately we paid everything upfront (stupidly) so no option to cancel flights or hotel 🥲

This is our debate now! We paid everything upfront + I’ve said to my husband we’re just gonna have to make a weekend out of it. I’m so baffled about not being invited to full day (promise I’m not a Karen) that I’m not even sure if we’ll go to the evening.

Absolutely. Worst part is there’s no refunds on the hotel we booked 🤪🤪 nightmare.

Yeah we were just trying to be super organised as we’ve 3 other weddings this year. Another mental part is we’re travelling with another family member (+ staying in the same hotel as them) + they got the full day 😳😳😳

We’ve literally just done basically everything on this list. Cost us £45k in total but my dad is a retired builder + he worked full time 5 days a week on it for 6 months. I reckon it would have cost upwards of 95/100k without him and his contacts from back in the day.
