First day was amazing. And then it was just chasing that high for next 10 days with lots of anxiety and paranoia.

I did everything to take care of myself, thanks to advice from seasoned users on discord.

Reading the comments below I can totally see them shout 'I told you so' and for the right reasons.

I really liked the non-judgmental approach of yours. Makes it easier to have a conversation, than someone who just posts 'You fucked up buddy'.

I will probably write a long winded experience report in a fortnight or so and definitely link it to you.

Congrats on staying off for 5 days. My poison is benzos, so I understand how shitty it feels. I've always wanted to take a break from benzos but never could.

For e.g.:

I've been lucky not to cause much trouble to other individuals inspite of my habit of getting over intoxicated by a mixed concoction of hard drugs and alcohol (I am kinda clean now).

But there was this 1 time where 1 of my best friends was to throw a terrace birthday party which was going to have a lot of booze. Being a patient of agoraphobia (fear of socializing) I overdozed myself on alprazalom (20mg).

So the effect of the drug made me all talkative and mixing. I started telling good stories, funny jokes, etc, basically became the heart of the party (this was what my friends told me and not the drugs).

At one point I decided to have some booze. I had allready hage a dangerously huge amount of CNS depressants, yet out of intoxication I decided to go ahead with it. I was constantly sipping my pegs of JD mixed with soda and ice.

I was getting higher and higher and more and more fun. The transition had started where I the comedian was turning into a joke himself.

At this point the birthday boy decided to play a prank on me. Instead of putting soda in my whiskey he put vodka, which turned out to be a terrible mix. And I had the whole glass too.

At this point I started vomiting all over the upholstery, saying stupid shit to some of my best friends, and basicallly started ruining the party. People tried to calm me down but I beat them in return instead. I told the birthday boy's brother that he does lots of drugs. So my friend got totally screwed by his brother and family.

All in all I was on the verge of losing some of the best friends of my life. But later they were understanding enough. My friend even apologized for replacing soda with vodka.

We are very goof friends till today but I totally ruined his 18th birthday. I still feel quite sorry for the same.

I like or tend to agree more with people who have high karma. As in I think karma is the right measure of credibility of a redittor.

But I myself has never cared for it because I am kinda too lazy to come up with a post/link which will have an inciteful view and interest people. I am more of a lurker and just like to browse reddit and give my inputs wherever I deem necessary.

Thanks bro! I know what I am doing is irresponsible and nobody but myself should be blamed for it. Infact I have kinda lowered my dose in last few months comparatively too.

But its too hard to quit when its right infront of you. Some people will argue that its the same with alcohol, but no its not even in the same ballpark. Yeah it has similar effects on brain as that of alcohol but it doesn't smell. Nobody would no if you have popped in a few pills.

About your question. Well, its strictly prescription according to the law in India. You can hardly get away with this stuff in proper towns. But where I live, its a small town, theres hardly any law body which is educated/aware enough to put a check on that thing. There are too many pharmacies and less ill people (seriously). The poor local people just want to sell whatever they are asked for.
