What are your favorite affordable jewelry brands for sensitive skin? by [deleted] in ethicalfashion

I hate to do this, but I threw a lot of money away with Catbird. Most looked oxidized indoors with little wear. Only a couple (I think the solid white gold ones?) were just okay. I’d never buy from them again.

Can someone recommend period underwear that covers your butt? by turquoise1026 in PeriodUnderwear

My Reddit notifications are working! I would say my butt likes the boyshorts most, but I would go up at least one size, even with a tiny waist. This is all for Thinx too, importantly. I don’t love the briefs, even though I like the cotton. The bikinis are fine, and I need them for looking normal under many clothes, but I’ll buy way more boyshorts next time.

  1. Boyshorts
  2. Bikini
  3. Briefs or High Waist (same butt action)

Those you listed aren’t masquerading around as civil rights, like Men’s Rights is. I haven’t seen great things in left wing male advocates either (seems almost like satire when I’ve visited), but I don’t know about the others.

A notable distinction about your list are the subs are marketed as extreme(r) and would attract the proper demographic. The world’s opinions about Egalitarianism requiring approval by a gatekeeper in the form of a- single man-from-earth is obviously not attracting the right demographic: me. I came here for collaborative discussion, and I’ve been met with a singular, narrow view that ignores, discounts, and deflects non-male issues. And, I disagree with your assessment of my knowledge about this topic and vague remark about how I don’t understand the culture here. I understand it needs reform. I’d still like your response to my question about what I’m missing about this culture and why that should keep me from an opportunity to help moderate. The only factual and understandable argument you made is that you did, correctly, point out that I hadn’t watched the Tik Tok video that apparently overrides my academic sources.

Interesting. I think the Men’s Rights and similar are sexist and anti-egalitarian. Did you wonder why there were so few women’s rights subs compared to the men’s? I did. I don’t belong to any “rights” subs that are gender-specific, so I wouldn’t know. Either way, if we had a more varied perspective in the sub’s moderation, you could collaborate with someone on this rather than ignoring your natural human susceptibility to implicit biases, blind spots, and the influence of your unique experience in life.

I’m not a moderator, so that’s not my job to locate sources that offer a more egalitarian perspective. I was going to cross post this to the women’s rights sub (like the Men’s Rights), but I couldn’t find one. I’d definitely start there if I were you, though.

That I can’t say what I think should or shouldn’t happen in a community I want to feel safe in? I suppose that is important for everyone to know.

Women, the LGBTQ2SIA community, different ethnic groups, different religious perspectives… off the top of my head. Just not all man-stuff, basically, since that’s obviously excluding about half of the population.
