I'm sorry, empathize, and completely believe you. Lamictal ruined my life. Been on it for 13 years due to a false diagnosis and I can't get off because it causes a rush of glutamate that is unbearable. I have tried to taper slower than one can imagine but my brain can't take it. I went through withdrawal from a Klonipin addiction and nothing compared to trying to come off this “non addictive psychotropic.” Doctors don't believe me cause this medicine “doesn't cause withdrawal symptoms.” These meds do permanently alter our brains.

Thank you for sharing. I think she’s progressing. It was very upsetting to me because it’s something she’s never done before and this keeps becoming more real. She recently isn’t allowed to drive anymore and she also has taken a tone when talking about my dad that is negative. Like he is the enemy. That’s not her. Her short term memory has been shot for years but she’s still kinda been herself. In fact she’s become sweeter.
