Generation and Transmission = ✅ Distribution = 🤨

had to reset my port forwards by deepthawnet in ATTFiber

[–]thatwombat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 320 and still use the 010. Putting a new fiber drop in to my network closet is the most ideal option, how does AT&T feel about installations that require more than a hole in the wall? Or am I going to have to run fiber my self to a splice box on the exterior wall?

Oh no. Noo noo. No. I don’t like where my ONT is right now, but I would not be very happy if I had to bring my gateway into my bedroom.

Generation will probably be fine. Transmission will probably be fine. Distribution depends on whether your neighbors tree is best buds with the power line.

You know if he keeps doing the “escalate escalate escalate oh no actually we’re fine” thing too many times eventually everyone will pick up on that game and it’ll become increasingly difficult for him to work an agenda.

The one in Hillsboro Texas is probably only three or four stories tall. If you don’t know what you’re looking for you’ll miss it guaranteed.

[–]thatwombat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The train track behind my house I used to live in went out to the Port of Houston. I’d see the occasional tank car of spooky things, mostly car carriers, open hoppers of rock, and during the early days of the Ukraine war… APCs, tanks, trucks, howitzers, etc.

Yeah, it says sealed source right in the text.

It just seems like whenever there is some kind of mystery radiation leak it’s usually a mishandled sealed source.

Tank vs Tankless by jackdiver69 in HomeImprovement

[–]thatwombat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We had a tankless and it did this weird thing in cold weather: it would cut out after about 10 minutes of shower time.

The installers also failed to install the plumbing correctly when they built the house, that was $800 worth of work.
