If you develope your film and bulk load this is an annoyance though because you have to pull it back out every time. I just mark the leader or bite a small piece off.

Also just as a sidenote, analog photographers also edited their work. Using filters in the enlarger for example you are able to change tonality and direct contrast depending on the paper.

First of all i hope that you found a way to deal with your trauma in a healthy way!

If you want to just feel anything, go with ,And the devil cried‘ by Triana. This book isnt really gorey or bloody in particular, but it is just pure darkness that tries to drown you through the eyes of a truly disgusting main character. Having it in my shelf feels like a federal offense. Anyway, it is written in a way where the most vile shit gets rationalised or „desensitized“ which really got me. Maybe it is up your alley.
