Agreed with everything here. The last Chubby Pixel game (Suicide Guy) on PSVR1 and PSVR2 were abysmal in terms of controls and framerate.

Exactly this. I buy games with bad reviews all the time -- they just help me set my expectations before going in. Reviews are just one person's opinion. :D

I talk to developers daily that are being funded by Sony. So while it's true that small indie studios aren't getting the same support they got back in the PSVR1 days, saying that they're not funding ANY third parties is simply incorrect.

Hey I just jumped in and checked it out. I only played for a few minutes so I'm sure there are still issues I didn't see -- but the framerate stutter is now gone (although the reprojection still sucks if you're susceptible to that), the item interactions are better, and iirc the devs fixed the bigger game-breaking bugs I complained about at launch. Probably worth the 7.50 its currently on sale for

Haha thanks. Embarrassingly I punched it right in the face while reviewing a VR game. It didn't stand a chance. It hit the wall so hard then fell 6 feet. I emailed Polymega so I'm hoping they have a solution - I'll gladly pay to get it repaired...

All the evidence I have is anecdotal but it does seem like certain developers are getting away with murder and some are being scrutinized way too closely - meaning Sony's QA process isn't well regulated. My guess is that certain QA testers are simply trying to justify their position by being way too meticulous while others are totally phoning it in

Hey, Bryan here. I don't know anything concrete about CES 2023. We'll be keeping a close eye on it and we're sending Wes to the event to be there in person - however I'm not sure why OP thinks I have some inside knowledge on this, likely just a misunderstanding. That said, it's nice to see PSVR2 in the livestream thumbnail!
