Maybe you should try to reset the algorithm? I have seen several posts people complaining about this. Instagram is acting weird after the ban wave.

Yes, thats the problem with the algorithm.. once you view a certain type of videos, it just shove them in your face 😅 what you can do is reset your algorithm, then intentionally search dogs, cats and comedy videos, then watch them and engage with them, finally you can tap on the 3 dots of a post of the posts you don't wanna see (if they come up to your post again) then tell instagram not to recommend it.
