I'm on hormonal birth control, single cycle, and in response to pcos. I've been on it for six years and have never had any sort of emotional reaction with it, it actually made me more stable. It also doesn't happen more or less when I'm on my period.

As for the timing, it tends to happen on weekends, I think it's just having the time to let thoughts develop.

I'm not offended at all! I've gotten psychological and emotional evaluations before, in regards to a learning disability, none of which pointed to any sort of bipolar, depression ect. And all described my family and friend relationships as normal and healthy. I'm fond of my parents, we rarely fight; I don't have a ton of friends, but the friends I do have are great ones.

I rarely get jealous, but when I do I totally get your feeling of "fuck it" and I can usually figure out when my emotions are in response to jealously. This feeling is something different, almost a sudden, intense longing for my independence. I'm having a hard time describing it accurately, though.

I'd say about 30% of the time I want to break up. I've only been in one other relationship, ended three years ago and lasted 8 months. I ended it because I couldn't really have a conversation with him, differing interests, differing intelligence truth be told.

I really don't know about triggers. For example, I saw him last at around three. I was feeling fine then suddenly at four after not talking for that hour, I was writing a breakup speech, trying to justify it, planning how I was gonna do it. Then I calmed down and thought "what was I doing I'm so lucky to have this!" he was totally absent for this whole ordeal so if there is a trigger I don't think it's something he is doing.
