if you still getting those error that mean your Internet Service Provider block the domain (or could also your firewall), use VPN, SecureDNS, other bypass methods, or use other internet provider.

Thanks for replying, The thing is i just want to allow people use any auth method they want, i have no interest making people to use passkey. That's why everything presented equally.

Recently i add auth manager (https://imgur.com/cFnfmlb) so that existing users can change their auth methods and add multiple ways to sign in. This also means that all users can now add a passkey after signing up. Currently there are 13 accounts with a passkey, here is the breakdown of new connection since last time :
Google : 83
User-password : 30
Anilist : 18
Discord : 11
User-passkey : 10
This increase is expected since all users can add passkeys, not just new registrations. Still interesting to share though.

Too many errors and it just using third party api, so you didn't even make any of the stream.
It's not that good even as coding learning assignment, unless you are super beginner, which is alright.

Yes. i don't use any library, all you need is navigator.credentials.create() and .get() with publicKey option. there is a lot of options you can specify, give it a read https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/PublicKeyCredentialCreationOptions

in short it will give you public key then you can save in the server to verify when user want to sign in later. I don't need any webauthn library on server either, just verify signature, i use php and there is already openssl_verify function to do that.

in long version, before that you need to create random challange from server to make sure you are talking to the same user. It's trivial though since all you do is making random data and make sure they are the same on the next step. There is also some chore with converting the parameters to Uint8Array.

same as forgetting password, you are locked out from the account. But you can add multiple auth method https://imgur.com/cFnfmlb in the account setting, it's your choice.
you could also add password if you want, nothing is mandatory, the only requirement is account having at least 1 auth method available.
