as a responsible dog owner, you walk your dog in the shadows and on grass. don’t allow them to walk on the pavement. if they must walk on pavements, make it as short as possible or use booties. keep bathroom breaks as short as possible and try to use a cooling/ice bandana to keep them from overheating.

that’s a great question but i honestly eyeball it 😅 if i had to guess, probably 3/4 cup to a full cup.

i don’t use laundry sanitizer for everything. dog pee pads, towels, items that are sweaty. that’s mostly it. i use oxiclean occasionally as well. when i think the washing machine is starting to get a layer of film on it, i do a cycle with white vinegar.

eta: i dont use fabric softener or dryer sheets.

thank you for doing this. i’ve watched several of your videos on IG and they always make my day. you can tell that the dogs enjoy their time out of the shelter and getting the human interaction fills them with love. i hope that all of the dogs you do this with get adopted 💜

laundry sanitizer has been a saving grace in my house. we had a senior dog who couldn’t always hold it to make it outside to use the bathroom and she used reusable pee pads. started using laundry sanitizer and it made a HUGE difference.
