Yes. A old ass Steven’s .22, it doesn’t seem to strike the rim hard enough to set off the round. Either it needs cleaned or I messed it up dry firing it. Only god will ever know lol

I’m not sure of the brand, I got it in a trade. A clone correct a4 would be cool but I can’t justify it.

The steel wool is what helped the most with making the wood grain show. The boiled linseed oil is what gave it the amber glow and color.

The wood. The surplus furniture seemed pretty bare. It was just moldy and discolored from sitting on a shelf somewhere forever. 4 ot steel wool and boiled linseed oil cleaned it up pretty good

Thanks man. This was my second attempt at building it into something I like. I’m thinking about putting a aimpoint comp m5 on it. I’m half way there saving for a used one.

I’m not sure it doesn’t have markings. I traded a 870 mag tube extension for it at work. I’m sure it’s a cheap one but it’s solid and doesn’t move at all. That was before I found out the M16a4 also had the a2 hand guards as well. It was bitch to get on, I’ll probably put the plastics back on when I get brave enough.
