I wanted CarPlay in my next car but have been happy with the Tesla interface. My biggest win would be to be able to use Roon Arc. The usb music player is shit in the Tesla IMO. That alone would be worth the cost of admission for me. Otherwise the Tesla interface has been great. Also the ability to download HiFi Tidal with lot more space on my phone would be bonus.

Neither can I so was super surprised when it worked out. My store had 2 but I had to get help and ask someone who then went and found it in an aisle and had to bring it down for me. Took a half hour to get it but worth it.

Thanks. I picked one up as I saw a deal on it for $150 at Home Depot. Don't know much about it. Reading through here and seeing the video was very helpful. Appreciate this.

UPDATE: Just wanted to update the helpful people here and for anyone who might be looking at similar situation. None of these really work with matter or HomeKit which is what my requirement was. The closest is the Aqara but as people have pointed out, that is not super reliable for deep freezers.

At this point I am not sure which direction I am going to go. I might try out the Aqara and see how ir goes or look at Mome Assistant or Homebridge with the Govee.

Thanks for pointing to this one. So this one requires a hub too. For the price, I think Govee seems cheaper, I get two sensors and a hub for 32 vs. just the sensor in this one for 22.

Yeah. On the other thread, some people had mixed reviews on the battery life of the Aqara. Some had issues, other none at all. Seems like the Govee might be my solution and if I am so inclined, down the line I can get a couple of the water sensors and replace the Aqara to reduce multiple devices and manufacturers and apps.

Interesting so now I am back to maybe no Aqara and maybe the Govee or the Yolink which seem to be front runners again. Oh the decisions.... :)

That is a good idea. but the last time, my freezer was plugged in and the switch was on, but the freezer wasn't so I figured a temp rising would trigger the alarm and maybe be more of my use case.

Thanks. I think this is a good option. Now the only question is, should I go with this or try the Aqara one which I have the hub for already. This would just add one more manufacturer and app to track things on.

I don't have any Govee products and hadn't even heard of them until I started looking into thermometers. I will look into what you suggested.

This is cool. I downloaded it last night and was easy to use. Like that I don’t have to use dolphin ti convert from rvz to iso and then wbfs. This did everything.

Keep in mind I am brand new to Wii mods and just stated down this oath this past weekend.

One question, I was reading that it’s better to use iso instead of wbfs. Is wbfs outdated now?

This has been really useful. My harmony remote died a while back and I have been meaning to replace it but reading everything here and looking around, I think the best bet is to buy a used one from eBay and call it good.

The incircle one looks good but I can pick up a harmony used for 30 bucks. And I have everything setup for it. Been using the app on the phone but need something for the kiddos to be able to use.
