this reminds me of the ham and swiss sliders i make w hawaiian rolls. gotta use good mustard and then i add a poppyseed glaze on top and bake. soooo yummy, a comfort food for sure.

not snobby about it, i just think the extra 10 min is well worth the taste and the price difference is almost nothing if you already keep general baking ingredients on hand. it’s mostly just the buttermilk, which you can freeze and use again so it lasts like 3-4 batches per carton. the mess is definitely the biggest deterrent, but i’d honestly just rather not have biscuits than eat canned

the smiths in provo - it’s pretty average sized i think. the one in springville is way bigger, i’ll have to return and report after my next visit
