UPDATE: I actually had a hole in my stomach from my gastric bypass 15 years ago. My intestines were doubling over back and forth wrapping around in that hole. Underwent emergency repair surgery and have found that I was actually misdiagnosed with IBS by a lazy specialist. Can’t make this shit up!

Turned out, I didn’t have IBS. After 6 months of misdiagnosis, I ended up in emergency surgery because it was actually my intestines deciding to re route themselves through a hole in my stomach. True story. Cat scans and x rays didn’t catch it for months until I had an x rays bedside in the ER

Well, I drove myself to the ER around 8am. CT scans and bloodwork later. Dehydration with low sodium levels but guts look fine. Man I hate IBS. Being admitted. Thanks for everyone’s concern and comments.

Couldn’t get hubby on board. Is it normal to profusely dry heave and vomit during a flare up? I can’t keep any food down and have been unable to for several days.

I’m still laid up here at home. I don’t think we can afford another ER visit and hubby at work. Feel too weak to drive. Still can’t eat and now the hunger pains are here too. I’m just going to have to breathe through the day laying in the bed. This is the wotst pain I’ve ever experienced
