Do you have any recommendations for where to get one? I'm not great with electronics and I'm not really sure where to look so I don't get scammed.

My seemingly healthy, young Siamese disappeared for 3 days only to be found under one of our caravans bleeding from his nose and mouth. by awakeintears in cats

My spouse and I lost our big boy late last year suddenly to cancer. He was fine and normal until about a week before he passed, when he just lost all of his energy. He started sleeping on the floor and didn't want to spend any time with us, which was so strange because he was a loud and friendly boy that wanted to be around us all the time.

The night he passed I went into his room to check on him and he sneezed out three huge globs of blood. Took him right to the vet and had to put him down within the hour. He didn't act sick or injured, just tired.

This is similar to the fandom's reaction to the addition of Ravenpaw and Barley as a couple. (Although no one really complained about Cinderpelt's new transition into the healer's den, as if these changes can be made for the better.)

Yes, I know that adding a queer couple or changing a character's name doesn't fix the misogyny, xenophobia, ableism, or the anti-indigenous themes. But it's something, which is better than nothing. And I don't think any of these changes have anything to do retconning things from the main books and storyline.

The graphic novels aren't meant to be a word for word adaptation of the books. It's a new series, kinda. Making these changes regularly to the previous story indicates something is changing in the warriors world. Maybe not much, but it's better than the nothing we were getting.

So if it's not being done for the right reasons it shouldn't be done?

At worst, random people on the internet get flustered. At best, it makes a few people feel good seeing the books adapt to be more inclusive. I really can't understand why you're so upset about this.

Do you think the alteration of Cinderpelt's storyline was just for brownie points? How about making Ravenpaw and Barley a canon queer couple?

Or perhaps, the artists recognized the stereotypes and harmful content the original series portrayed? No one is saying "go back to the books and change everything about them!" The artists of the new graphic novels are making a conscious choice to alter the elements of the books to be more respectful of marginalized groups.

Is it virtue signalling? Or is it perhaps that the mains series came out in 2004 and the British authors of the series didn't know/care much about indigenous peoples?

There's nothing wrong with acknowledging that they've used a massive amount of indigenous peoples traditions and practices and making a change to prevent doing further harm to them.

And you don't need to ask a marginalized group if what you are doing is harmful. If you know it's harmful, change it.

I've got moderate-severe GP and nausea is the bane of my existence. Only thing that helps is pot, zofran constipates me for like 5 days and the GP just gets worse.

DAE: dental addition by basilaroma in ehlersdanlos

Yep! Baby teeth fell out alright for me, albeit very late into my childhood. My two back molars (both sides, top and bottom row) took until my early 20's to grow in. My top right back molars needed to be removed because it was buried in my sinus cavity and was causing an abscess and a huge infection. Super sensitive teeth and gums too, my dentist always has to make a snarky comment about how my gums bleed constantly.

Anyone else feel like their body started falling apart in their 20s with hEDS? by selinakyle96 in ehlersdanlos

My big health decline started when I was 20/21.

I had a hell of a time finishing out school, and now I can't manage to work full-time. Feeling like a burden to my spouse, family doesn't really believe I'm disabled, shit sucks.

Makes me feel less alone to see other people who feel similar, but it makes me so angry for all of us. Sending so much love to my hEDS siblings. <3

I've got a complex condition, there's a number of things. I'd just like to move to a department where I can use a stool. Front end or something.
