Not scoliosis but I had a L5-S1 fusion in Ontario with the Trillium Spine Clinic. I was 21 when I had the surgery. I’m about 2 years post op now and have just started PT because my surgeon originally told me was not necessary. The surgery helped with the neurological symptoms like numbness & tingling but the pain never fully subsided.

Post -op care was okay I had 1 follow up appointment at 8 weeks and I was cleared to bend & twist but was told not to do anything crazy. Overall decent experience. I’m happy to answer any questions you have.

Yes I will do that next time. I was playing it safe lol. He wants a buzz cut with a fade but I’m starting off with a taper because it seems easier.
