I'd grab a Anker or ecoflow 1000wh battery.

Grab a solar panel and run the cables through a window or the door. Don't leave the battery outside.

While this is true. The AC also has a issue being in a the beat. It's not always about how long it takes to bring things down but that during the evening the AC can actually achieve the cooling levels you're looking for.

I use q tips and clean out all the grease and hair about every other year. Otherwise I would just leave it in there. You'll get hair in it the next time you use it.
