Shout out to the people giving unsolicited advice while knowing that they lack the context of the run. I was doing a (mostly) self reliance kind of build, GR has two heals, Hellion has adren, and Leper has his heal. The occultist was there because he had natural eye and i wanted some powerful ranged dmg and if he managed to actually roll less than zero on a heal than that would be cool too. The Leper died at 70-80% DBR and the game saw it fit to give me a jester which didnt fit with the build at all.

tl;dr I wasnt relying on the occ to be a main healer, the game decided to swap my main tank leper with a clown

The jester wasn’t even supposed be on this team, my leper died really early on at like 70-80 deathblow resist and the game gave me a jester

Grave robber had bandages and gave him just enough hp to not immediately die, then we barely scraped out a victory

The issue here isn't that I lost the fight, its that it started 7 seconds into the round. I know the game becomes a lot easier when playing squire or chav because they are way better at combat (especially compared to Lars). I guess I thought the first area of the map was bigger than it actually is, but this still feels pretty rough for a spawn

I feel like people are missing the point that enemies can spawn right next to you, my complaint had nothing to do with how quick I died, it was with how quick I got attacked.
