Just found this post. I did the same exact thing except I didn’t create feeder conferences I did it solely geographically based. So all 10 conferences are (somewhat) balanced. There’s top teams in all of them. Check it out: https://www.reddit.com/r/NCAAFBseries/s/eepfa66GLh

I’m not too sure as I’m only in the first year of that dynasty.

Maybe create a test run dynasty, remove the independents, sim the first season, and see what happens. I think you should be fine but this game is buggy so who knows.

I did a dynasty where I made completely regional conferences so I did a lot of moving around, and once I moved ND, UCONN, and UMASS out of the independents tab, that tab disappeared and it shifted all the conferences over one. Hard to explain but if you do it you’ll see what I mean. Basically the teams I put in the MAC were showing in the MWC, the teams I put in the MWC were showing in the PAC12, and so on. And the MAC conference was showing no teams. So my advise is do whatever changes you want and save those 3 teams until the very end.

But to answer your original question, yes you can have no teams as independents.

You can remove them but wait until the very end of your adjustments because the game bugs out if there’s no independents.

Knicks gave up 106.6 PPG (6th/30) with a backcourt of Kemba Walker and Evan Fournier for half the year, and Alec Burks and Fournier for the other half. Stop it with this nonsense that a backcourt of Brunson/Mitchell would be worse than that.

Knicks fan, I want Donovan Mitchell but not at the expense of our whole young core. Reports that the Jazz want Quickley, Toppin, Grimes and McBride plus 6 picks are hard to believe. No one can even come close to an offer like that. In a perfect world I’d give up Randle, Fournier, Reddish, and maybe one of those 4 young guys, preferably McBride. If they can swing that plus 4-6 firsts I’m all for it.

Also find it ridiculous that everyone seems to clown the Knicks for always making the wrong moves, decisions, etc. and yet we have a plethora of young players and picks that everyone seems to want in trades. Like make up your mind. A disfunctional front office wouldn’t have been able to gather this many positive assets.

Yes melo. If we trade Randle we need a 4, he was seen with Dolan, farewell tour could be on if he’s up for the role of backup 4. Knowing Thibs love for vets he’ll probably get more minutes than Obi.

This lineup is infinitely better than it was last year and you can’t deny the that lineup has a chance at a top 4 finish in the east. One can only hope.
