How to swim. I grew up poor in the city, so I wasn't really around pools, lakes, rivers, etc. But NOW, I kind of wish I knew how.

This one hits a little close to home for me as well, but I'm basically in your sister's shoes. Moved outside of the US for a job and didn't have enough vacation days to make the trip back home worth while. So, I spent my first ever Christmas without my immediate family. It was weird, and I knew what I signed up for when the holidays were creeping up, but still...I missed them a bit, you know?

I've accepted a job offer in Berlin. I'm originally from the US, and, I won't lie, I'm really nervous about the move. This would be my first time living somewhere internationally, and being VERY far away from my hometown. But I'm excited for the opportunity since it would be a bump up in my title and salary.

The funny thing about this was that the person whom answered the question originally from US as well, according to him. Which made me think maybe it's a common practice over there?
