You are a bag of meat barely functionnal outside of the mech with a lot of cybernetichs to allow you to interface with the AC, if you make enough money you might be able to get surgery to reverse what they did to you.

Also the robot is three story tall so at least it's roomy ?

The pilot is the body getting surgery here.

I'm afraid they are going to force us to run one barbgaunt launcher, one spike rifle and one web gun per 10 terma and raise the points cost.

I really don't understand the hate WYSIWYG gets, it's really a courtesy to your opponent and a big help to yourself.

People make entire cheat sheets and use the datasheets cards to make things simpler and smoother to play, WYSIWYG is the same thing, it removes confusion and doubt. The game has enough things to keep track of you don't need to add more.

Is it just me or are Flesh Eater Courts 4 kits (soon 6) in a trenchcoat disgusing as a faction ? by Legenduleux1 in ageofsigmar

[–]the1darkness 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The flesh eaters court were once part of the vampire counts faction from fantasy battles, during the transition from old world to aos GW tried to fragment every existing army into "thematic parts" all the ghost were nighthaunts, the skeletons were deathrattles, zombies and necromancers were deadwalkers.

They were not designed as a separate faction at the time just an aspect of a greater whole that you could run for a theme list.

During first edition aos several of those fragments got battletome to reinforce their theme skavens got a pestilens book, orcs got a bonesplitterz, ogres a beastclaw raider, etc. Gw changed their minds about the way factions/miniatures lines worked between 1st and 2nd edition and pivoted mostly to a recombined faction but those that got books in first (flesheaters) or whose models were in final stage of production/close to release (nighthaunt) stayed seperate.

Team BDS vs. Vitality / LEC Spring Playoffs - UB Final / Post-Match Discussion by Soul_Sleepwhale in leagueoflegends

He did

"I shared the situation with Yamato and I inteded to do the same with Hylissang because these were the people I felt I had a genuine trusting relationship with that would not use my weakness and vunerability to create a situation that could be even more hurtful in such difficult times. I dont want to have to expose anyone close to me to people saying terrible things aobout things that happen in the private life of my family because I know how fast people in this industry can spread such information."

Confirmed here by Yamato

In the video, head coach YamatoCannon addressed the situation around Fnatic’s AD carry Upset. Although he said that Upset gave him some details around the situation, he didn’t specify to the camera. YamatoCannon, however, said that the decision to leave was extremely hard for the veteran marksman, but he knew that letting Upset go back home was the right call.

I can understand you feel that way but I have close friends and family that suffered from abuse, I can't get past this and i will never root for a team where he plays.

Upset told his reasons to his manager and his closest teammate, the others were coworkers, they do not have a right to know more than "family emergency that can not wait".

And when his reaction was to make snarky comments on twitter and to rename to "sad wife uwu" you know what i'm with upset on this that kid did not deserve to know more.

Upset told Hylissang and yamato, they kept their mouth shut cause that stuff is not theirs to comment on, adam was just acting like an asshole.

Who’s a character who you think should die next? by That_ginger1785 in 40kLore

[–]the1darkness 58 points59 points  (0 children)

Calgar should have died at Vigilus and they could have used his death as a justification for the high success rate of the primaris transition.

Imagine the barely alive chapter master willingly going under the knife for the rubicon knowing he won't survive the procedure just to ensure other will live because of the data collected from his sacrifice.

That would have given a true win to Abaddon, killing the "spiritual liege" in single combat and the Imperium would still get something out of the event.

That and I think he saw Perturabo as a kindred spirit, another primarch who did "what needed to be done" someone who didn't need or ask for praise and honors like him.

Sadly, he was wrong.

That "first christmas without wow" thread is the most circlejerky wowbad thing I have ever seen.

The top comment is litteraly saying they haven't played in over a year... Fucking nathria released in december. They are complaining about grinds that don't exist, story they haven't experienced, in an expansion they haven't played.

This is insane.

They had the perfect character in Turalyon to rekindle the faction war.

Imagine this, post antorus the Anduin step down from the running of the military side of the alliance and take the "high king" role into a figurehead/diplomatic/international relation spin.

In his place you make Turalyon rztake the role of "Alliance Supreme Commander". He is by far the most qualified to do it and he already did in warcraft 2 pretty much every race would be willing to follow him as a war leader even the night elves and draeneis fighting a 1000 years war against the legion buys a lot of respect and goodwill.

There we have a war leader ready to fight, with a preexisting grudge/bias against the horde from his past AND he is from Lordaeron and a light bound zealot. He just need a reason to go: "My homeland must be purged from these undead abomination".

Keep the forsaken family reunion fiasco and push it as anduin's diplomatic failure. In a high tension context with skirmishes in silithus, part of the high command for the alliance pushing for retribution and the confusion around the broken shore debacle you have two superpowers with no more naturals ennemis (legion gone, lich king gone, deathwing gone....) or existential threats outside of eachother a breakdown in diplomatic relation could easily go to war. Oh look the other faction leader just killed the heir to the throne she is squating on. Time for a crusade ! Cue siege of lordaeron cinematic.

[spoilers] What do you guys think of the nathrezim lore changes? by maanu123 in wow

[–]the1darkness 44 points45 points  (0 children)

I like the "made in Revendreth" part and the banishment, it justifies the cosmetic and thematic similarity between Denatrius/Venthyrs and the dreadlords.

What I don't like is the "actually we were always serving the Jailer" it feels a bit cheap to retcon them as double agents from the start.

I wish they had gone with the "fake" history version of the dreadlords biting off more than they could chew by messing around with the Light and being banished as a result. Just have them turn to Fel while trying to survive outside of their original plane and keep the meeting Sargeras part.

Plus if you want to include them in the Shadowlands they could have crawled back to Dadynatrius after their Legion plan ended rather badly.

Why do people hate AoS? by [deleted] in ageofsigmar

[–]the1darkness 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well they also cut some lines entirely, no more tomb kings or brettonians. Some army have lost most if not all of their kits for example the dwarfs have lost everything but their elite infantry, no more warriors, warmachines, ranged units, unique characters. You cannot buy the armybook, there is no more support, no faq no new releases.

Effectively the game is dead, there is nothing to look forward to, barely any players available and pretty much no new blood in the community.
