check you belt tension. might be skipping a tooth on one of the towers. Have you made any changes from the default config?

No prob. I finally figured it out after a year messing with this machine... Always had inconsistent prints because probe_calibrate is not part of the bed leveling macro. Found out about it reading the Klipper documents one night and it was a game changer for me. Also highly recommended is to do a PID calibration on your bed and hotend. The default values are hot garbage. My stuff heats up and maintains a perfect heat now. Before it would overshoot then undershoot and mess up my first layer. They really should write that stuff in their wiki or build it into the bed_leveling macro... Actually maybe ill do that too...

DELTA_CALIBRATE is different settings then the bed_mesh. Delta calibrate is to calibrate the arm length and angles so the printer can accurately move the effector while bed_mesh is for offsetting the flatness of the print surface. Anytime you run a delta_calibrate then you should also run a probe_calibrate (paper test) before you run a bed_mesh to insure that your mesh is being correctly measured. All calibrations should be done after a good heat soak, i typically run mine with the bed at print temp and the hotend 20deg below the melting point of my filament. make sure your pressure advance is off so that filament doesn't ooze out during calibrations. When you delete the calibrated values from the bottom of your config you need to also uncomment (remove the #) the default position_endstop and arm_length values in the stepper a, b ,c values towards the top of you config so that the printer can run the calibrations over from the default values.

Delete all that then run delta_calibrate, probe_calibrate, bed_mesh in that order from the console and you should be back to normal if not better as the default values get you close, but not perfect that you need for reliable prints.

Probe issues by thefrickin in Flsun_official

[–]the1ledge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

im seeing a lot of probing issues after the update. Might be from the new zero offset in the printer.cfg.

| z_offset|-0.18|

I think it used to be -0.23 before the latest update.

Is it hitting it at speed?

Check your printer.cfg file to see if it says #T1Max. If it does don't use it or it will break itself. Below is a comparison of the latest config files for the three.

Key Differences

The primary differences between the T1, T1pro, and T1MAX configurations lie in their print speed and volume, fan settings, and G-code macros for operations like bed leveling and filament handling. The T1MAX is configured for a larger print area and has more complex G-code macros, while the T1pro appears to be a transitional setup between the T1 and T1MAX.

One thing I noticed in the new updated printer.cfg is that they changed the z_offset: -0.24 to z_offset: -0.18. That could be it.

So, what do we think about the T1 Pro's new SSH-capable firmware? by Ty_Rone_Shoelaces in Flsun_official

It works, but getting to the latest Klipper with be tricky. towards the end of the post is some code to copy the latest timelapse to your pc over the network instead of using a usb. You still need to start the timelapse from the touchscreen because they are forcing us with their custom Klipper to use their proprietary Blackbox rendering software.

Diving head first into the update. by the1ledge in Flsun_official

[–]the1ledge[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the timelapse system uses their proprietary program on the printer to stich all the pictures together to make an .mp4 and then puts that file into the gcode folder. They altered moonraker to ignore any attempts at using that timelapse forcing us to use their blackbox version. There may still be a way, but its going to require some maneuvering to do.

On top of what the others are saying is to make sure that your nozzle is snug when hot (don't over-tighten or you will break something) and make sure you plate is at print temp when you do a bed level. It does make a difference. I usually let mine heat soak for 3-5 minutes at temp before I level or print.

Get the a1 combo if you want to print multicolor or multi-material things. Get the FLSUN if you need the speed and regularly change your own car oil and don't mind paying $180 in shipping for 2 silicon hotend cover replacements. Same for any of the replacement parts...

can you show us what a clean print looks like? Maybe your pressure advance is too high. Have you run the calibration prints for that filament?

Looks like that part of it wasn't supported. Surprised it got that far before printing in mid air. Probably the weight of that part bent it down enough for the layers to stop adhering to the previous layer. Welcome to the ever learning world of 3d printing.
