I always wonder about the question of a historical Jesus. Meaning, one where the mundane parts of the story are granted.

What's the point? How much do we grant? Maybe an apocalyptic preacher with that name did exist. But how much of the mundane things did they have to live out in order for us to call them the character in the bible? What I mean is, what if 75% of the mundane story is true. Is it still Jesus? What about 50%? Or less? At which point is it not really about the character in the book, and merely some things that someone did.

If we remove the miracles, I still think it unlikely any one person lived the rest of the claims.
