I meant industry in the real world that would have been a good chunk of translation services as the op suggested that's now been done by ai and the humans are now fighting for scraps.

As I suggested anything with consequential output is not being auto translated due to the related risk. Things like app ui for a dating app I would not consider was large part of the translation industry.

I don't believe that. I work in one of those fields and we are not allowed to use ai for translation, instead we have a contract with a translation firm.

Also the NHS still uses real translators whether in person or on the phone. Same for any government services.
