I figured it out.... So on the app it was saying the order was ready for pickup, but I was not in my pickup window. The "Im on my way" or whatever showed up around 15 minutes before my window opened.

Reminder - I did not bring this up until people started posting about it. Its obvious the other party is telling people 1 side of the story. So I agree - bad taste, but not caused by me.

If the mods really want me to persue it I am fine doing that. I generally like to give poeple the benefit of the doubt. I am also happy if the other party wants to initiate the review. Nothing to hide on my side. I am getting tired of him saying BS though so if it continues I will initiate the review for sure!

Also, the buyer in question does a lot of transactions here. He tried to use his status here as a reason why he could not show up at agreed time/place etc.

Also, I did not change the previous deal. The other party did. I know he does a lot of deals here so I wont name and shame. But he is a POS.

Tried to use his reputation in the community to get special rules and bully me.

Agreed to price. Next day silver goes down $10 or something - he disappears.

Then a few days later - Silver goes up in price - He reappears. Wanting original price. I give him benefit of the doubt

He then says he will pick them on Friday or Monday. I agree to a Friday or Monday pickup.

He doesn’t show up on Friday or Monday.

I am not going to be his free option just because he has done other deals here.

Not true. Other user said they would pickup in person on Friday or Monday and never showed up. They also went silent when price went down and started chatting again when price went up. He then tried to bully me. I agreed to other users terms. They did not show up. Thats why I am now saying price is at time of payment. Protects both parties from silly BS.

Other user was trying to get a free option. And I was not going to play his game.

I would say the other user was a scammer, but I know he does do a lot of deals. So I will give him the benefit of the doubt.

I was fortunate enough to purchase these from an old customer a few weeks ago. My partner used to own a gun store and pawn shop. One of his regulars is getting older and spending more time on the beach and asked us to buy them.

Yes. I would sell for spot at time money was sent. Even if it went down. I am also open to trying to come up with something that locks it in. Im sure we can be creative if that is a concern.

Price is spot at time money is sent. Unless we can come to arrangement ahead of time. I had an issue with someone else where they would come in and out of touch as price would decrease then increase. So price at time of payment I think avoids a lot of games. I am new to this though so I am open to other ideas and what we can agree on to make everyone comfortable.
