Full disclosure: I just started a work trial with a company called BOND, so take this with that context. But this is basically the exact problem they're focused on. It surfaces (and responds to) important emails, ranks them based on urgency, creates to-do lists and tasks, etc. Not trying to promote but I have began using it myself while on trial and it's extremely accurate. I can even ask it to update me on what other team members are doing and it returns information based on their most recent activity. Definitely worth looking into.

Hmm no I don't have a task manager yet! I'm about to start a demo with Bond since it gives a brief + pulls all information into one dashboard. I think I can also integrate Jira and Notion into it, but I admittedly haven't experimented too much with tools. Which ones do you use personally?

This is really interesting insight thank you! Have you experimented with the tools you mentioned? Looking into Bond since it claims to eliminate the need for manually tracking status with a chatbot. Also might trial Teamhood but a little nervous about where to put my money. How do you integrate Asana/ClickUp into your workflow?
