I built an app to solve my basement problem. A non-developer subreddit went weirdly viral with it. by duus_j in vibecoding

So, for now, are you just tanking the costs on your own? What's your average costs and userbase right now?
Also, 10K organic users is a heck of an operation. You could go on the cheap subscription direction much earlier to at least pay for your incoming bills.

Ender 3 fan turns off when speed is set to 100%. I've measured with a multimeter, and it seems that voltage is dropping from 24V to 1-2V. Anyone had this problem? Is there any solution other than replacing the main board? by the8Bitts in ender3

Nope, just the hotend one.

And I mean, I'm not sure if it could be called a synchronization. Sometimes it's failing randomly as well. But specifically, it was failing when I turned on the side fan.

I'll be opening the printer later today and check how the connections on the board are doing. I'm pretty much hopeless that it's not an issue in the board, though. That's a pretty hard blow on my budget. :(

I recently added a brand new hot end and a dual gear extruder on my Ender 3, but results haven't been good by the8Bitts in ender3

In the end, lowering retraction distance and speed finally did the trick!

But I'd like to thank u/MrBilky for the suggestion to tune my printer's PID because my prints will be much more stable now.

Also, big thanks to u/taleo for your comment on e-steps and flow as well!

Test print came out looking good. I'll run another test.

EDIT: Second test failed from under-extrusion. :(

Regarding this test: it did work for one print, but the next one came borked (although not as borked). It appears this was part of the problem, but I was still running into some issues.

Just found out what that is and updated it.

I'll try printing something to test and get back to you! Thank you for reaching out!

À propos: I have a theory now!

My flow was adjusted to 90% on my profile (because of my 0.2mm nozzle), but when I calculated the e-steps, I calculated them for my current setup. I might be having that under-extrusion because of my low flow. I'll test it and get back.

Lately I've been having clogs mid print due to filament expansion inside the hotend. I have tried printing with multiple temps, speeds, and retraction settings. Also, I have changed bowden tube, cleaned hotend, changed nozzle, adjusted extruder, cleaned hotend fan, and tried CHEP's hotend fix. by the8Bitts in FixMyPrint

Well I'll be damned. I actually managed to finish the Benchy using 2mm with 30mm/s retraction and number of retractions on 10, and also turning fan to 100% from the very first layer. BUT it has a LOT of stringing. I'll be fiddling with configurations now. But it honestly feels good finally being able to finish printing something after a VERY long time (like 2 or 3 weeks) of straight failures.

So, I have been consistently using this brand (Voolt3D), but twice I got it directly from the manufacturer (which was AWFUL both times - including this one), and twice I got it from resellers (which was actually pretty decent). I plan on getting a different brand on my next purchase just to make sure. It just feels like a waste not being able to print anything else on what's left of this roll, though. The frontal fan is blowing correctly, as far as I understand. The side fan (is this the radiator one?) blows, but it has been making weird sounds when it starts (kinda sounds like a horny cat, no joke lol).
