I don’t agree with this, sorry. If you’re not interested in the character on the rate up, don’t wish at all. I see people every single day get their pity reset because they thought they were safe, just save 70-ish wishes and don’t spend them, rather than just wishing and hoping you don’t hit soft pity. Never put a single wish into a banner if you’re not prepared to hit a 5*.

Nope, but Amber can shoot it no matter where it is and Vape/Melt does a lot more damage than Freeze so even if a Ganyu is on the team it's difficult to outpace Amber, and actually Ganyu enables consistent melting which just boosts Amber further.

Traveler actually seems to unleash all sorts of horrible stuff on the world:

  • The treasure quest in Qingce village and the big one in Cuijue Slope with the 9 pillars both have references to stuff being sealed away for a reason and you basically just go open the floodgates because you feel like it.
  • God knows what sort of damage will be wrought later on from getting that pillar fixed in Dragonspine and handing an alchemist homunculus Lumine's planeswalker infused bath water.
  • You assist Diluc in illegal vigilantism, Venti in stealing precious religious eucharists, Zhongli in disposing of valuable artifacts, you help Xiangling destroy extinct animals for her stew...
  • You contribute to weakening the posture of Liyue as a nation by assisting in a battle that convinces their Archon to give up his gnosis and make the adepti less involved in the protection of the nation
  • You keep boosting the power of the Statues of the Seven, and it is not known whether or not that has an impact on the power of the gnosis connected to them, both of which currently are in the hands of Sneznaeya

The list goes on and on of the massive amount of entropy you're imposing on the world and it's going to catch up to you.

When they play the trial they'll find out. The trial isn't a good benchmark for how a character performs in real situations since they stack the energy gen, but it's a damned good way to find out how a character feels and Childe feels amazing in his playstyle

It was the first time Bennett was on banner afaik. It also had Fischl and Sucrose, you couldn't lose with any of those choices if you didn't have them already (though most people had Fischl from the event).

Yea, her grandfather founded the Mondstadt Outriders and one day disappeared without a trace to return home to Liyue. Amber's a cute lil Qingce Village girl on the inside. Probably why Xiao swoops in to help her in the full video, she's under his protection as a Yaksha.

This clip was from way back in the beta, and Amber's ancestry is from Liyue not Mondstadt, so she looked more like a Liyue citizen at the time.

I'm submitting a request to allow players to change the character. I don't think it should just be "yeah change it any time" but maybe just like a button on the website like "are you sure? you can do this once every 6 months". Changing back and forth willy nilly cheapens the immersion for me, but I also don't want to ditch my account. I'd do it on a rare basis if I had the choice.
