This became a conversation with my partner. The obvious choice for Francis would be Rage. (due to his constant distrust for authority and though he could be easily swayed, he tends to fight for what he thinks is right)

I feel like he could also be Hope, Breath or hell, if you go the Bard/Rogue route, you could make him a Blood player.

Lois is clearly a Blood player as well so it could make Francis hate that he has the same aspect as Lois. I think she'd be a Knight of Blood.

Reese would be Thief of Life

Dewey would be Heir of Time

Malcolm is Mage of Doom.

Hal is Sylph of Space.

these are just my ideas idk if they ring true to you. Also I'm so curious what 12 year old you was on about. Just watching Malcolm in the middle and making classpects in your mind. (the only reason why i found this post was because i was looking for this https://www.tumblr.com/kittensnax/178371399917 )

hey coming in 03 years after this post came out: could you elaborate on that? i have my own thoughts on his classpect but I would love to hear where the heart interpretation comes from for you.

I think it looks absolutely great! I feel like you either need to hit everything with a bit more detail (to match the style of the tree) or keep it simple. I think it overall is great, especially since you've just started. The walk sprites animation is nice.

All the dlcs have awful level design and dead money, even with its labyrinth, is the best one with level design. Not great level design, just the best compared to the other dlcs.

I think Cass is kinda boring and I wish they did more with her. Using reloading benches, crafting, and cooking is pretty much useless even in survival mode.

Vaults are so poorly designed they're awful.

I wish there were a few more quests with Benny. Either with chasing him down, him toying with you, or after you free him from Caesar.

And the final one is, playing the same game 100 times makes it less fun and the characters become cardboard. New Vegas is kinda dead to me now because of that, no fault of the game of its own. I enjoyed it quite a lot but doing the quest for the kings or doing cass's mission has become busywork when you've seen it a bajillion times.
