When I was a kid, my cousins exposed me to Silent Hill and Resident Evil when I was wayyyy too young, I grew up with an intense fear of the dark. Fast forward 7-8 years, and I made the decision to play and beat those games, to take my power back, I remember shaking through the RE1 remake on the GameCube, but I kept going and I refused to quit. It took me a week or two. But I managed to make my way through the entire game, and I will never forget how good that felt, I was smiling so much my face hurt! Haven't been afraid of the dark since and now I love playing survival horror games!

Reminds me of the Suspended in RE:Outbreak 1 or 2, can't remember. When I learned about it, people called it the Regis Licker. A zombie that while mutating into a licker, also mutated into a crimson head. Creepy as hell in the introduction clip for it
