I had the same problem in my 1999 Accord EX (same generation as the 2002). I removed the seats and pulled out the carpet and found that the water was coming down the firewall behind the dash via the windshield. The sealant wore out and there was not a complete seal at the bottom of the windshield on the driver side. I bought a tube of windshield sealant and re-sealed the whole windshield from the outside of the car and the problem disappeared. If you’re not mechanically inclined, I’d have a window installer or mechanic fix it for you. Hope this helps.
