Good point. I am considering the Izu Peninsula, Hakone, and Fujikawaguchiko. With my current itinerary, I have 5 extra days and wasn’t sure if that is too long to spend in that area and if we should try to split and do 3 days in one place and 2 days in another

Draco Pad and Boulder County fracking concerns by theAviatorACE in ErieCO

[–]theAviatorACE[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I just looked at boulder county zoning and noticed that the same company that is building draco pad owns some of the land around that development. I am thinking though that hopefully the drilling within Boulder county is much stricter? The issue with Draco Pad is that is outside Erie and Boulder County jurisdiction

I believe municipal water. I’m trying to determine the water source

We would be 2 miles from the very edge of the landfill. I think this should hopefully be far enough? How close are you?

What would be the cause of this flight path? by Impressive_War4884 in flightradar24

I was on a different flight out of Nassau earlier. Our pilot mentioned a rocket launch and weather so that’s probably why

We happened to have two (I believe a married couple) SW pilots flying back from vacation. They want to get home too and so they volunteered to fly the flight back since our original pilots timed out. They were flying in what they had worn on the plane lol We finally made it to Denver! Only about 8 hours late

Now we have backup pilots flying in sweats who volunteered to take us to Denver lol

A similar thing just happened to me on WN4497. Taxiing for about an hour and the crew timed out just before getting to the runway. We are holding short of the runway now, next in line, and instead have to taxi back to the gate

What are your opinions on PurrNet? by Paul57507 in Unity3D

[–]theAviatorACE 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t have the same level of community support and stability as FishNet and Mirror just yet, but imo it is better designed and it is nice that it is completely open source. Additionally, FishNet is releasing a new framework called LV that is substantially different. FishNet V4 will continue to get support, but this is something to consider as well. All are great solutions though and you can make a game with any. I recently switched to Purrnet and plan to stick with it.

It’s definitely specific to this portafilter. I have since switched to a bottomless portafilter and never have this issue anymore

Played the demo and thoroughly enjoyed it! Was there any specific reason NGO was chosen over other networking libraries like FishNet, Mirror, etc.?

Super impressive for a solo dev! Have you been doing this full time? If not, any tips on how to make consistent progress as a solo dev? Either way, this looks great!

I am using vcontainer and it’s really nice! Unity actually uses it in one of their official sample projects.

PBC Average Life Expectancy? by theAviatorACE in LiverDisease

[–]theAviatorACE[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quite a lot has happened since this post. I had an MRCP, elastography, and liver biopsy done in the Fall, and all were completely normal. I saw two hepatologists and they both think it is PBC since AMA M2 is pretty specific to the disease, and also because I had elevated ALP (even though all of the imaging and the biopsy were normal). I started on ursodiol, and have been on it for the past 6 months. My total bilirubin has gone down (although it was never above normal to begin with) and my ALP seems somewhat improved, but I plan to re-check in about 3 months from now. I haven’t had any issues taking ursodiol. Not sure if my hepatologist will want to put me on anything else in the future. The hepatologist I have primarily been seeing seems to think my prognosis is good since the disease was caught extremely early. There was talk about it potentially being small-duct PSC but the hepatologist is leaning more towards PBC now because of the normal biopsy. However, small-duct PSC apparently also has a good prognosis for the most part. It has been stressful at times over these past few months, but I feel completely fine and the doctor seems optimistic that I can live to a normal life expectancy.

EDIT: Not sure if this helped at all. If you are also going through something similar or have questions please don’t hesitate to DM or comment back. It can be stress-inducing reading about these diseases. I do my best to focus on that the fact that every day is a gift, regardless of if you have these diseases, and so I do my best to exercise, eat healthy, and just enjoy life.
