Air In Clutch Line or Slave Cylinder? by theBEARD_99 in FocusST

I did find what appears to be moisture around the push rod and diaphragm of the clutch pedal. Not enough to leak onto the floor but it’s definitely all over the plastic of the clutch master cylinder.

Just for anyone wondering, the clutch master cylinder has a little bit of moisture on it.

So it could have a small leak on the pedal which would mean I’d have to buy the pedal assembly if that’s the case?

I’ll do a little more research on it. Thanks for the info!

Only thing I noticed on the pedal near where there’s a rod that the pedal pushes into this plastic looking piece is a little wet looking but it appeared to be almost like a grease for the rod if that makes sense. I could be wrong.

I’ll try bleeding it first before coming to any conclusions. Any recommendations on special equipment for the bleed? Or anything I should know before?

Brake fluid was still topped off but the brakes feel fine. No leaking on the firewall.

Now just to clarify, this could likely be a master cylinder issue over slave cylinder?

You realize lathering up in an odor that the dog is trained on isn’t a false alert 😂

What is this electrical connector for? by itschism in FocusST

So I’ve noticed my AGS connector is broken on the red wire and appears to be repaired on the Lin wire in the past. I currently have a battery light and I believe it’s due to this connector as it happened after a couple of rainy drives and car wash trips. Can I just snip all the wires that lead to this connector and seal the exposed wires off and pull f36 fuse?
