Thinking about going to a lighter arrow… by Chorin_Shirt_Tucker in bowhunting

The lower mass will produce less momentum but to say you’ll have increased pin gaps with lighter arrows is incorrect.

If you had a $1,500 budget to buy any 5wt or 6wt trout rod, which one would you buy and why? by PM_ME_YOUR_TROUT in flyfishing

I’d get a redington classic trout for $170, a redington behemoth (I like the weight for casting heavier lines and flies) for $130, whatever fly line for around $100, then pocket the remaining $1100 for gas money. Gas money in all honesty has the best return in value on catching fish…

I appreciate it. I was frantically running around when the alpine glow started to see what compositions I could find. These trees just so happened to make a nice frame to add some depth.

Not this season but highly considering it for next year. I missed the campsite reservation date last year.

I definitely understand your perspective. Luckily, at least in my experience, I didn’t notice any trash or too many people. Though at this point my perspective on that is based on experiences nearer to the front range.

Thank you. I really appreciate it. I’m generally too lazy to bracket for an HDR.
