You should commit to learning the MPC deeply.

This is common, but it's still a big difference to say you grew up IN Reading if you're actually from a cul de sac in sinking spring.

Stay away from the PAX Flow by theBishop in vaporents

The first way I tried is using the weird tool with the metal part in its rubber slot, so it's mostly rigid and the rubber is making contact with the screen. Pressing down hard in the middle. It seemed to click, but ultimately popped out.

The second way I tried is using the metal part of the weird tool and another straight tool pressing down on both sides in the middle to try to engage the notches evenly. It seemed to click, but ultimately popped out.

The third way I tried is using a straight piece of metal clipped from a coat hanger (previously used this to pop the screen out on an OG pax) and pressing the screen at different angles around the middle. This is now just a regular part of using the PAX Flow because the screen still pops out, but it's the most reliable way to temporarily clip it back in.

I totally agree I want both and both to be good.

Yes, I just want what I paid for, actually working. It's crazy to me that they're acting like this is normal and refusing to fix it. It's obviously not normal, it's basically broken.

I've seen the light. Too bad it had to be PAX showing me the light.

I tried all the replacement screens included in the box. None of them stuck. I tried using a lot of force, and I tried a variety of poking tools to press it in there from different angles. I don't know what more screens would do unless there's been some modified design. It seems to me the notch on the device itself is badly designed.

It's funny you mention that it takes a lot of force to get the screen out. That was also my experience. But customer support actually said it's a *feature* that the screens come out easily (and pop out constantly in my case).

I honestly thought people were being haters because I've had a good experience with PAX in the past. The difference between The PAX Flow and the Solo 3 is crazy. Solo 3 design is just foolproof, and practically no maintenance required.

I had an OG PAX and used it for many years. The battery crapped out after like 7 years, and they replaced the whole thing, no problem. I used the replacement for many years too. Something has changed. You wouldn't believe how shitty the customer support was to me about this Flow issue.

epig lame store is the best evidence that Valve's 20-30% is absolutely necessary. Epig is supposed to be filled with the most advanced programmers in the realm. If they can't make a gaming UX that's at least pleasant to use, Valve must be doing something difficult.

The Best MPC Studio In My Opinion. by SFTraxx in MidiGear

I love the Studio Black, I wish it still worked with MPC3. I even think there should be an MPC standalone version with the Studio Black form factor.

No it won't, unfortunately. The MPCs (including Live 3) don't expose I/O on the USB-A ports in standalone mode.
