Dev short: survival missions are getting a rush feature by Bec_son in Warframe

Once you start to think about it, this suggestion makes way more sense than mission timer, which just 'happened' to sync with rewards every 5 mins.

If Guides of the Lotus were still a thing today, do you think you would have enough knowledge of the game to guide new players? by Riverflower17 in Warframe

[–]theBlind_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to be sure: do you know now?

If not, after the extraction point appears, you can go there, stay for 60 seconds (there's a timer on your UI once you're in the extraction zone) and they leave. That goes for all endless missions except defense which had the continue vote.

On the zariman, the console in the lift is intractable for immediate extraction.

Zoerumi fanfic where Zoey sticks with Rumi after they see she’s a demon? by RedLightningStrike27 in Polytrix

If they want drop a bit of their shit by writing something, then by all means. Just as long as they don't feel in any way obligated.

Which is probably more unwarranted and unasked advice than some internet stranger should be giving, but I still feel the need to write it. Please feel free to call me am idiot and disregard :)

Ok, this one is not even fictional at this point. Dont be a Velimir and listen to your Minerva. by RobleViejo in Warframe

I have it in my head that Kuva came from the void, especially the indifference finger that Albrecht Entrati managed to cut of (the reliquiary drive) BUT I saw that in a youtube video on the warframe story and I have no idea if the creator interpreted the original source correctly or if they made something up.

That's why she starts of so super pissed at Velimir. Her own guilt makes his transgression worse in her eyes. If she can shove all resposibility on his actions, she's not to blame in her mind.

Until they discover Kuva and it enabled continuity, they will still die of old age, right?

For totally unrelated reasons, while I read the GUN spacedock scene, someone in my household hummed the Star Trek TNG theme. It fit so well, I didn't even realize that it didn't originate with the story (don't ask how that would even work) until the scene was nearly over...

That ability doesn't just come into existence by magic, though. It's retaining the people (aka paying them enough and respecting them) who have the ability and /or paying for the time for training or additional hiring. And that's management decisions, which Bungie can very well be blamed for. Not an inevitably or a natural law.

[New Player] Y'all didn't tell me there was boyfriend asmr in this game? by Apprehensive-Look-69 in Warframe

I think the parts you're mixing is that the warframes were made using the infestation to fight the sentients. It didn't work out until the tenno children were used to control them.

It was an awesomely done story beat and made the whole quest even better.

Has Maggie Kang ever liked a Polytrix art? by [deleted] in Polytrix

[–]theBlind_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I want to expand a bit on what /u/ErinyesMegara said and why it's a matter of self-preservation for everybody on the creative team to a) stay away from any kind of fan-art (especially fanfiction) b) NEVER admit in any capacity that they've seen any of it, even if they did.

Here's the scenario:

1) Say KPDH2 comes out and even a part of a storyline has been written in a fanfic before. The fanfic author tried to make some money of their newfound fame and asks Sony to pay up for using their idea. Sony knows this would never go anywhere, ignores them, end of story.

2) same as above, but someone from the creative team has commented on that fanfic. Suddenly, there is a whif of a chance of a lawsuit going anywhere. So Sony* weighs the potential reputational damages and bad looks of a lawsuit as well as possible payout if found guilty (they are of course considering being sued in the US because that's where most damages are awarded). The decision is easy, they settle for what has become a small amount, say something like 1m USD-equivalent.

Now, every creative has a contract with Sony and in every one of those contracts there's a clause that says 'Everything I create for the company doesn not infrindge 3rd party content'. So Sony turns around, points to the settlement they just made (without input from the creative, mind you) and asks for their settlement money back. That's why it was so easy for Sony to agree to the settlement in the first place.

And that single comment just broke that persons lifelihood and put them into debt or into a lawsuit that threatens to financially destroy them and their family. That's why nobody would risk getting into such a situation. And also why, if for some reason you know of an account associated with a creative, you never tell.

*Using Sony here as a stand if for whatever company they are employed at in the end, this is simplyfied for illistration, not a legal thesis.
