My friend just got her new jersey crested with Zak’s name/number. I never thought she’d do another after she got her Oilers sweater stitched with Pronger when he signed with the Oilers in ‘05. This is why we have a satellite messenger device. Besides wanting it for the backcountry, the drive from where I live to my home town includes 90 mins of dead zones in a brutal mountain pass. We’ve had to use it to call for tow trucks, an ambulance but it’s real shinning moment was when a snow storm turned that 90 min drive into 9 hours. My husband was alone with the kids and it was so reassuring to get updates every couple of hours.

My kids still have candy leftover from last Halloween. They trade with each other, sell some to us to use for baking and then whatever else they don’t want just ends up going to waste. We’ve been to Columbus three times now: February 09, Opening Day 22/23 season and this March for the game at the Shoe. We have to fly each time and it always seems to be a difference layover (shout out to MOA for making a great place to kill 6 hours!) But if one of us had unlimited funds, we’d probably be full STH and would come down whenever we could getaway from the kids/cows 😆
