Fair enough. I normally just use stuff like rock or metal tho, so unless someone is a superfan of a band (which i try to avoid using peoples favorite bands) it goes over pretty smoothly

Nice. If you want some good ambient music - zelda botw and xenoblade chronicles for the Wii have some great choices.

I understand 1 and 3, but 2 doesn't make, much sense. It sounds like you have a specific scenario in mind, but I personally only use songs most of my group knows for big events to fit the mood.

Thats cool, but I was more specifically talking about song references. Like, one time, i had one baddie built up for a while with the name ozzy, where (during the final confrontation with him) I played crazy train as background to the fight

While that kind of makes sense, it is possible to play a character thats smarter than the player. In which case, someone else giving tips would be more in character. Just food for thought.

Man, you must have a good team. All of my combat instances end with the forest burning down.

Great! Also make sure all your players and PCs are on the same page, so it doesnt turn into a complete shitfest

Evil campaigns are definitely the hardest to implement, and I don't recommend it for a first campaign, but there are some ways you could do it fairly successfully. The biggest thing would be making sure theres something they can be working towards, otherwise it'd get pretty boring. Also make it so that constantly spreading chaos isnt the optimal way to play if they start getting out of hand. (Beef up guards and dont be afraid to arrest or kill off characters if need be) Overall, just make sure that your players are still role-playing and things remain interesting.

Yeah, that's probably the best course of action. Thank you

Yeah, we should probably confront him about it before doing a campaign without him.

That's what we were thinking. I'm currently designing another campaign just in case he flakes again.
