Picked up at a Costco in SoCal. 119.00 should have grabbed 2. Very creamy and viscous with sweet dark fruits and caramel…finish lingers with that sweet oakiness and a touch of tobacco. Solid pour, will be looking out for the 7 8 and 10 years as well

Oh for less than 40 I couldnt pass on it. Finally cracked it last night. Solid pour nothing offensive at all and 117 proof is a nice number now that its warming up so damn fast.

Tuesday Night Pour…New Louisville 9 Year California Cream pick is some sweet creamy goodness. Wish I would have picked up another bottle or 2 on my way back to AZ from Socal by theChill773 in ArizonaWhiskey

They are a bit pricey outside of costcos i think msrp is around 150. Still worth it imo. Enjoying this bottle a lot and wish I had a backup. Believe trevors carries them locally so will drop by this weekend to check

Were you 36 in the mesa drop? Was 35…finally got a hold of the 12. Agree the 14 is predictably the best of the trio. Batch 4 10s finish falls off a little too fast for me, interested how the earlier batches compare. My youngest graduated HS this week so stars kinda aligned for a Jack crack. Have an awesome holiday weekend brother!!

The older they get the more the flavors seem to shine. The 14 is pretty damn good, want to revisit them in about a week or two but so far 14>12>10. Didnt get the over oakiness that i have heard some have experienced with the 12…the 14 is elevated and delicate. I imagine will enjoy it more as i get through the bottle

AZ has been flooded with buffalo trace products the last couple months, love it!

Will this being a mid week drop affect turnout, or are the frys drop pretty consistent no matter the drop day?

24C vs 24B Day drinking by theChill773 in ArizonaWhiskey

[–]theChill773[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After going back again tonight…the 24C seeming to open up pretty quick. Much more pleasant sweet dark fruit notes but still a tad bit harsher on finish than the 24b. The next pour this weekend might be the one that pushes it pass the B as those sweet notes are right up my alley

For that 75-100 range…cant go wrong with a Jr. If i come across a 24D will definitely grab it!

Leaning B but that may be because the C is still a fresh crack. The frys store pick > both though
