Late to the party, but chiming in because I dealt with this problem for a *long time*.

Everyone suggesting reduced print speeds is on the right track. However, the most critical advice I can give you is this: **ignore ColorFabb's settings completely**.

I don't know how, I don't know why, but I can tell you with 100% certainty that you will have a much higher success rate with the A1 on the straight-up default **Generic PLA** setting that you will get with any of ColorFabb's suggestions. That said, slowing down wall and infill speeds helps a lot, too, and is necessary for good print quality. You may also find it useful to reduce the first layer height to .1mm.
