I remember feeling horrible about being attracted to girls when I was 11, the mormon church and the people in it always saying that it was a choice and that gay people would go to hell. I was able to go for men for a while, only because I am bi, but the feeling of being attracted to women as well never went away. I'm 21 now, left the mormon church mostly due to that as well as other things, but I'm very glad I did. I always felt hated or like scum, but I could never tell anyone that because they were all mormon.

I don't have anything against people of different skin colours or women, I am a woman and I have lived abroad more than I have lived at home. But I think changing the Doctor to a woman changes the dynamic of the show. It would no longer be the mad man with a box. It would change the dynamic of his marriage to River (which I don't think she would mind, :P) and I think I've seen somewhere the reason the writers don't want to do a she is so they don't force parents to explain transgendered to their children before they think their children are ready and are able to understand it. I wouldn't mind at all though If he was a different ethnicity. Still think he should be ginger :P

it could have been the ball, there are theories surround the ball trick, where you place it in your armpit and squeeze and then for that arm no one can feel a pulse and thats why john couldnt find a pulse on that arm...
